The relationship between Horizon Lets and Nomad Opening Doors

At Horizon Lets we are not only passionate about property but about helping people too which is why we like to donate to charities wherever possible. NOMAD is an amazing charity with a really good mission which is why we chose them to donate to.

Not only do they do fantastic work, but they are based in Sheffield just as we are.

Horizon Lets are very proud to do our bit to help them and we do this by donating £50 to the charity each time we add a new landlord to our portfolio of properties. We sometimes donate multiple amounts at a time if we list more than one landlord and in October 2020 we donated £150 in just one week.

The NOMAD Opening Doors charity was started in 1989 because a Sheffield based single mum and a single man, both having experienced homelessness, wanted to do something about the issues within the city at the time. The charity is run completely by volunteers who are dedicated to providing housing and support services in Sheffield and across South Yorkshire to all members of the community.

Nomad aims to improve access to decent and affordable house, help people transition out of homelessness and support them to develop new skills and by doing our bit we feel like we are helping too!
