SWITCHING TO HORIZON

At Horizon Lets we want to make sure the whole process from start to finish is as quick and easy as possible, so our work really starts by helping you switch. Many landlords stay with the same management agent even though they are dissatisfied with the service, as they worry that it will be a big hassle to switch.

No matter the status of your property, we can help. We can take over let and management of your property if:

• You are switching from an existing management agent – even if there is a tenant in place.
   
• You are handing your property over from independent management.
   
• You are operating a let only service but need some additional help.
   
• Your property is currently empty and you need to find a tenant.
   
• You are in the process of purchasing a buy to let property.

Horizon Lets will:

• Communicate with you as the landlord and look over the paperwork provided by your current managing agent to see whether an exit clause exists for you to use.
   
• Contact any tenants in situ to introduce them to Horizon Lets, inform them on the changing management agent and request a new standing order to be set up.
   
• Request that you send your existing agent notice by writing and inform them that you will have a new managing agent when the notice ends.
   

Once you have decided to switch to Horizon Lets, your job is done! We will then take over, and your switch will be completed!
